What is the drop table mentoring?
When Philipp was studying computer science, he felt like something wasn’t right with the conventional way of learning coding. The amount of theory that is taught in universities bothered him and made him think about shortcuts to learn what’s really needed in practice. Over time, he found mentors to learn from. Mentors who came straight out of practice. That was the game changer for him and his career.
While for most developers, DROP TABLE is just a command to delete a database table, Philipp’s reinterpretation is to drop what doesn’t move you forward and start doing what does. Learning takes time, but it shouldn’t take more time than necessary. That’s why Philipp decided to mentor a small group of very hungry and committed Android developers to become ready for the industry. The DROP TABLE mentoring is a direct result of that.
Become an Industry-Ready Android developer in 10 weeks
Self-Learning is not a fast way to getting a well paid job
- Self-learning is very error-prone, since nobody tells you when you’re on the wrong path
- Learning alone lacks a clear structure which will cause you to learn irrelevant conepts while leaving out those that matter
- As a solo-learner, you have no relation to real practice since you’re not coding in a real work scenario
Having a mentor Is the fastest way to learn what’s required in the industry
- Get immediate feedback on your mistakes which speeds up learning by up to 7x, since your mistakes won’t backfire later
- Get a clear structure on what really matters, so you master what really counts in the real world
- Learn from an experienced Android developer to find out about all the tricks & hacks you only learn by working on real projects
Get Everything to Land Jobs at top companies
